E-Foiling & Jet Boarding

Pura Vida Ride is proud to announce that we now offer electric foiling and jet boarding lessons at our Las Catalinas location. In collaboration with Free Glide Costa Rica, we aim to provide our customers with fun and innovative ways to experience the ocean.

Free Glide Costa Rica is an official Flite Board School, and exclusively uses Flite Board gear for foiling. They are also the first in Guanacaste to offer electric jet board lessons using an AWAKE Jet Board.

A Flite board is a type of electric hydrofoil that allows you to ride above the water's surface. It is powered by a battery and an electric motor that drives a propeller, which moves the board forward. The hydrofoil design of the Flite board enables it to lift the board and rider out of the water, reducing drag and allowing for faster speeds and smoother rides. The board is controlled via a handheld remote that allows you to adjust the speed and direction.

The AWAKE jet board is a state-of-the-art, motorized surfboard that allows riders to experience the thrill of surfing without the need for waves or wind. The board is equipped with an electric motor that propels it through the water at speeds of up to 30 miles per hour, making it possible to carve and turn like a traditional surfboard.

Lessons are offered from 8 AM to 2 PM at the Pura Vida Ride location in Las Catalinas. Don't worry if you're a beginner, our experienced instructors will guide you through the process to ensure that you have a safe and enjoyable experience..
